Bath Tea Bag Recipes - Fragrant fumes and healing herbs engulf you when you use a bath tea bag for relaxation.
Making your own homemade bath tea bags and sachets is fun and easy to do.
Mix up the following mixtures thoroughly and spread out onto a paper towel or plate for at least 2 hours to give the vitamin E gel time to dry. Create a pouch from a piece of muslin that measures 6 ½ by 4 inches by folding the muslin in half and sewing a seam up the sides. Fill the sachet half full with the following mixtures, sew a seam up the top and decorate to your liking. I decorate mine with a label, and by trimming the side with pinking shears for the zigzag edge. You can add ribbons, bows etc. Anything that would be safe to use in water.
The following recipes include all dry ingredients for maximum shelf life. You can add other ingredients like honey if you plan to use the sachets within a day or two. Make sure if you use any wet ingredients that you refrigerate until use and I do not recommend selling any that include wet ingredients. If you’re making a large batch, then double or triple the recipes to your liking. You can also premix these in large batches and make the sachets, as you need them, just store the mixture in an airtight container until you’re ready to use.

First mix your Baking Soda, Cocoa butter and recipe ingredients together in a large bowl. Next add your citric acid (don’t add citric acid fist or the fragrance will make it start fizzing). Next spritz the mixture with witch hazel while mixing with your hands thoroughly. You want to spritz it until it is damp just enough till it sticks together. If you wet it too much then they will become fizzy puffs, which although you can still use them, they aren’t very attractive for selling. Once it’s damp then press into molds and let site for 24 hours to dry. You can use ice cube trays as molds, and once dry they will be hard as a rock and ready for your bath.

Lotion Bar Recipes
Make wonderful lotion bars right in the comfort of your own home. Lotion bars are not only wonderful for your skin, but proven best sellers as well!
To make lotion bars, melt your oils and butters in a heavy glass container on very low heat in the microwave (Pyrex works great) or on a very very low eye on your stovetop in a stainless steel pot.
Make sure you do not boil the oils as this can be very hot and dangerous.
Once melted, let your oils cool slightly, then mix remaining ingredients. Small dixie paper cups (the kinds used by sinks, not the large ones) make nice molds. Just put your cups on top of wax paper to protect your counters, and fill cups about 1/2 inch to make 1/2 inch thick bars. Let cool completely, then pop out of the cups for perfect purse hand sized lotion bars. Wrap your lotion bars attractively in waxed paper.
